just fitted this tonight, it was just the thing to make my amp sound GREAT at bedroom volumes, as opposed to GOOD with the PPIMV.

What Pins are the green wires connected to ? If I have 1/2 power Switch will this still work (as long as i change the Ohms on back of amp from 16 to 8ohms) For even lower volumes ?

The pentode/triode switch won't affect the operation of your normal half power switch in any way - just continue using that as normal.
The green wires are connected to the leads of each pair of 1k 5w screen grid resistors that are tied together.

Q / do I disconect the original wires (yelloish colour) in the picture & only leave the last tube conected to the choke.
What switch can i use (i have a mini DPDT rated 2a 250mv) is that big enough for this ?

Q / do I disconect the original wires (yelloish colour) in the picture & only leave the last tube conected to the choke. Don't mess with the original yellow wires or choke connection, you need the screen voltage supply on each tube otherwise they won't work. Just add that new yellow wire and connect it to the switch. I can't remember off the top of my head what the rating needed is so I'll have to get back to you on that. What I do know is that the mini toggle switches available from Metroamp.com aren't big enough for this.

It might be the switch then As it does work for in normal mode DPDT switch is on /on Is this correct I'll go out and try and hunt down a larger DPDT switch (maybe the mini cannot handle it ) But confirmation of what kind of switch would be greatly appreciated.

Worked it out.
I didn't lift the cement resistors from pin6.
but left them on conected to the tube socket
Does that mean that the tubes arnt protected ? Now
